Personal interests

Volunteering at stray animal shelters

Emmanuela’s research interests evolve around Finite Element Modelling of biomedical materials and procedures. Her MSc thesis, has fostered insight into the biomechanical response of posterior stabilization systems (lumbar spine) in osteoporotic patients, eliciting the interest of BioTech companies. The results of her thesis are currently being evaluated for publication in “Spine”.
