Prof. Stergios Maropoulos

Stergios graduated (BSc, MSc, PhD) from the Department of Metallurgy of Manchester University (UK). He serves as the Vice Rector of the TEIWM and Chair of the Research Committee, while also leading the accredited Centre for Testing of Materials and Constructions (CTMC). He has been involved in numerous industry funded projects in Britain, projects funded by the British Ministry of Defense as well as several National and European Research projects. His published work, focuses on metal alloy characterization and Ti alloy-implants.
